Impact of Music on Human Brain Activity during Mental Stress

Abstract
Because music is an integral part of our lives, every step towards a better understanding of its impact on humans is beneficial. This paper deals with the impact of several types of music on the human brain activity during mental stress. An experiment was designed, and electroencephalography data, heart rate data and data from questionnaires were collected, processed and analyzed. All these steps are described and a subset of the large collection of results is presented.
