Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the cryptocurrency security based on the traceability problem in the Monero Blockchain. Researchers found a weakness in Monero transactions in the beginning of the network existence, where the real input could be deduced by the elimination. We decided to do further research on the newest data available after several Monero updates where introduced and implemented to evaluate, if this weakness is still available in the recent transactions. The analysis of the existing sizes of ”Ring Signature” in transactions in subsequent versions of the Monero network has proven that the minimum required size for a given version is most often used, which can in some rare situation potentially lead to the creation of a user profile, and identifying transaction.
