Abstract
Through this paper, we present an approach that simplifies the understanding of ergonomics and anthropometric design to Mechatronics Engineering students at Tecnológico de Monterrey by presenting both the theory behind those topics and a practical approach using specialized software and hardware. The latter, carried out in an industrial context to avoid musculoskeletal diseases at work, assisted the sensitization of engineering students into designing products and workstations that would account for the needs of their users.
