Abstract
Activities that involve electric energy are among the most dangerous and most harmful to the worker they perform. Therefore, the general objective of this work is to develop a virtual reality application that simulates the use of augmented reality technology as a means of access guidance and safety instructions with electric substation operators/maintainers. For this purpose, a newsletter, a simplified 3D electrical substation was modelled for experimentation in virtual reality and, thus, to evaluate a user experience regarding the use of the prototype and define what are the main requirements that can be used for the construction of the final application.
