Abstract
In this article, we will examine the values and value orientations of the modern manager in the business area through the prism of the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, it touches upon the impact of the pandemic on the value system of the manager and the management system as a whole. The topic relevance is determined by the complex and dynamic nature of today’s crisis. That’s why effective business management requires from managers not only quick reaction and non-standard solutions but also a change in behaviour, which should be based on the value principles.
