Abstract
As the scale and scope of human socio-economic activities have expanded, modern society has become a complex system with uncertainty and rapid change. The complexity of public problems and the prevalence of "governance failure" suggest that there is an urgent need to change the thinking of public management research from that of the industrial society to that of the information society. Through the characteristics of big data, such as large scale, variety, fast generation and low density, which have great value, big data analysis and social computing methods are used in combination to build big data analysis models for public management, to mine effective information and reshape public management research. While big data research serves public management, it is also important to pay attention to the possible problems of "finiteness".
