On the Integration of Smart Grid and IoT

Abstract

The paper proposes a novel solution in the field of the integration of Smart Grid and Internet of Things. The definition of a web platform able to offer to a generic web user a RESTful interface to IEC 61850 Servers is proposed. The web platform enables the mapping of information maintained by an IEC 61850 server into MQTT messages.
