Abstract
An LMS adapted to students’ learning styles has the potential to promote more meaningful learning experiences. This work develops an interface adaptation model for LMSs based on Honey and Mumford’s learning styles. Relevant characteristics of these styles are mapped and serve as basis for an Adaptation Model used for LMS interface prototyping regarding activist, reflector, theorist and pragmatic students. Information organization, navigation and presentation are among the aspects considered. A teacher module is also developed to help instructors create content adapted to different individuals.
