Abstract
In this paper the biodegradable packaging materials newly developed in the international food industry in recent years were summarized, and the food development field was sorted out and the international development direction was speculated. Besides, the materials of polylactic acid, polyvinyl alcohol, poly (3-hydroxybutyrate), protein and coating materials were treated respectively.
