Abstract
Agile methodology focuses on delivering working software as soon as possible, whilst having the customer involved from start to end. There are some challenges in requirements engineering in Agile. For example, non-functional requirements are being ignored and not treated as first-class artifacts during the development lifecycle. This causes a lot of problems such as customer dissatisfaction and a lot of rework; which affects time and cost. This paper explains the different challenges of requirements engineering in Agile for the past decade.
