Abstract

In the sphere of development conversations, the last several decades have seen an ever-expanding lexicon of concepts ornamented with the adjective "green." Phrases such as "green economy," "green growth," and "green deal" have evolved, ushering in a new age of focus on the complex interaction between the economy and the biosphere, with a special emphasis on the function of the Earth's luxuriant plant life. This fundamental transition, commonly referred to as the "greening" of development plans and policies, crosses borders, spanning numerous territorial systems and economic sectors.
