Abstract

This paper aims to understand the nexus between academic context and student well-being. It provides an overview of the prevalence of mental health problems among students and the ways in which these issues can impact academic performance. Nevertheless, the factors of the academic environment that can influence a student’s mental health are also discussed, outlining the importance of addressing such issues in the student community and the potential long-term impact it can have on individuals, leading us to the reasoning behind creating the application that serves as the focus of this paper. Considering the practical use of the application and what it offers, this paper will also discuss the intelligent analysis of the collected data, enabling further interpretation by mental health professionals.
