Abstract

The rise of the Embedded Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) field brings challenges regarding technologies specifically tailored for development in this area. Among these, chonIDE, as a new Integrated Development Environment (IDE) dedicated to this newly explored scenario, has gaps in its code that can be improved to meet market demands. In this regard, this paper outlines a new architecture through the restructuring of the components of this IDE to make it more scalable and, consequently, mitigate challenges in the Embedded MAS scenario. Additionally, changes in file structure are suggested to promote code versioning and enhance interoperability with other IDEs at the project reuse level, thus making it better adapted to market demands.
