Abstract

The role of the library as a learning resource, information centre and innovation. This study aims to determine the importance of the role of the library as a learning resource, information centre and innovation. This type of qualitative descriptive research. Sources of data in this study are librarians and library visitors. Data collection techniques were carried out through (1) interviews, (2) observations, (3) documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that: (1) the role of the library as a learning resource was good (2) the role of the library as an information centre was good (3) the role of the library as a source of innovation was good. Libraries that are well organized and systematically directly or indirectly can provide an important role.
