Abstract

In this paper we present the user centered design process of the research project OSAMI-D. The project addresses cardiac disease patients during the rehabilitation at home by offering an IT-based solution for a supervised ergometer training. The user centered design process consisted of multiple user studies. We analyzed the needs and preferences of a specific user group and developed user interfaces that are easy to operate by them.
