Abstract
In the recent years there has been tremendous development of data acquisition system resulting in a whole new set of so called big data problems. In addition to other techniques data analysis of these data sets involves significant amount of clustering and/or classification. Due to a heterogeneous nature of the data sets the performance of these algorithms can vary significantly in different applications. In our previous work we proposed semi-supervised information fusion system and demonstrated its performance in various applications. In this paper we proposed to improve the performance of the proposed system by applying data preprocessing algorithms using feature reduction as well as various base clustering techniques. We demonstrate the applicability of the proposed techniques using real data sets.
