Abstract
This paper presents a user interface that was designed for people with sever aging related conditions as well as mobility and speech disabilities. Proposed user interface uses augmented reality to highlight objects in the environment. Augmented reality is created using a projection mapping technique. Depth sensor is used to perform object detection on a planar surface. This sensor is also used as part of a camera-projector system to perform automatic projection mapping. This paper presents the user interface system architecture. We also provide a detailed description of the camera-projector system calibration procedure.
