Abstract
The purpose of this project was to extend an existing open-source simulation framework called Dockemu in order to make it suitable to perform IoT simulations. The work covered some improvements with goes from the support of more network technologies to the use of setup and deployment tools used by modern devops professionals. The paper explains the architecture, the newly-added features and the specific advantages it offers for research works in IoT network simulations.
