Abstract

The challenges of managing the city in Sidoarjo are very complex due to population, socio-economic conditions that are constantly changing and the limited carrying capacity of the ecosystem. It is also due to the need to pay attention to the new paradigm related to the mainstreaming of science and technology and innovation through the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Research and Technology and the Ministry of Home Affairs (No. 3/2012 and No. 36/2012) which is concerned with Strengthening Regional Innovation Systems (SIDa). Dusun Jasem, Bulusidokare Subdistrict, Sidoarjo has an undeveloped creative economic potential. It is Makam Mbah Sayid Sayid (the first Islam spreader in Sidoarjo), that can be a religious tourism-based economy. The study was conducted using the Asset-Based Community Development Method (ABCD) which is responsible for both non-physical (HR) and physical elements. Restore is fostering self-confidence and awareness that will exist as well as significant usability for their own welfare.
