Abstract
Maintenance tasks have an essential role in the safety of helicopters throughout their life. It is performed by aircraft maintenance technicians (AMT). Two major types of operations in the maintenance activity are information intake/processing and motor actions. This extended abstract will present a new work-analysis methodology, using a mobile eye-tracking system to measure the use of maintenance documentation during the preparation and execution of the maintenance task.
