Abstract

The GEM is an integral part of China's multi-level asset market, which is characterized by high growth, high innovation, small scale, and high risk. In addition, senior executives may affect the company's operation and management activities, and may seek private interests and damage the company's interests. Therefore, shareholding by senior executives has become a common incentive method for companies, but corporate governance issues such as principal-agent issues and senior executives' moral hazard have followed. Therefore, at present, domestic and foreign scholars have taken executive stock ownership as a core topic of company research. Based on the above background, analyze the impact of executive stock ownership on profitability of GEM listed companies, and draw a conclusion.
