Abstract

CABENUVA is a 2-drug co-packaged product for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults to replace current antiretroviral therapy. The development of more effective and convenient medication can improve the lives of HIV patients. This article mainly focuses on the drug profile, clinical trial and comparative analysis of CABENUVA with other newly approved HIV-1 drugs. There have been several HIV-1 drugs approved since 2018, but the route of administration of them is still oral. The appearance of CABENUVA indicates the possibility of introducing and developing injection HIV medications.
