Abstract

In the past five years, tourism has become a crucial supporting sector of China’s economy and an important way of living in a well-off society. Therefore, examining the growth of China’s tourism sector over the last five years can provide valuable insight into its overall progression. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theory of supply-side structural reform and high-quality tourism development and describes the current development status of China’s tourism industry. Secondly, this paper analyzes domestic and foreign data differently, using SPSS to study domestic data and data charts to analyze foreign data. At the same time, literature analysis and SWOT analysis are used to analyze tourism development. The research results show that China’s tourism industry is currently experiencing the problem of unbalanced regional tourism development and the recovery of tourism after the epidemic. Finally, this paper concludes and makes reasonable suggestions based on the analysis.
