Abstract

The present paper examined the status of the tertiary education system in Uzbekistan, drawing on an analysis of developed countries' strategies for enhancing the quality of education and maintaining higher education institutions' competitiveness. Proposed were organizational and economic strategies aimed at boosting the quality of education and the competitiveness of universities.
