Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of professional communicative competence of a psychologist, it examines various definitions of communicative competence and related concepts of communication, communication. Professional communicative competence is defined as the basic professionally significant personality quality of a psychologist, the specificity of whose work lies in communication, communication, and interaction with people. Its structure highlights the following elements: communicative knowledge; communication skills and communication abilities.
